The World Eater

Recently I've been playing some Eldritch Horror and getting into the whole Cthulhu mythos. I've had this assignment from my studies, so an enormous horror bursting out from the planet's core came to mind ^^;
Not my usual style or subjects, I know, I'm experimenting recently with some speedpaints and environments, trying to improve and develop techniques :)

Red Riding Hood

Red Riding Hood, character design course.

Giving my own interpretation to the Little Red Riding Hood fairytale.
Red's a space cadet on her first mission alone. she ventures into a distant space station to investigate a lost signal. Things seem strange upon arrival. The captain (the grandmother) is there, alone, and acting strange. eventually Red discovers that it's actually a body snatching alien shapeshifter (the wolf), and Red has to fight for her life. Luckily she gets help from an ex marine smuggler (the hunter).
I've imagined it as an Alien/Event Horizon style story.. Hope you like it!

Santa's Creed

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate :)
Climbing rooftops and sneaking around seems to be in fashion nowadays :P Just thought this up and had to make it. Have a Santa's Creed, and it's a girl because. ^^;

Ella Commission

A portrait commission for a girl, as you can see, she likes princesses and unicorns :P
Tried to make her look like her and keep it "my style". I find it challenging, but rewarding when it's successful :) She liked it a lot, which is also rewarding ^^;

Yamatoya Exhibiton

Something from a little while ago, for an Exhibition in a Japanese restaurant. I thought to wait but there's no set date, so let's have it :)
The exhibition's concept is about seasons and I wanted something related to autumn.

Wasn't very satisfied with this one so I've made another ^^;

I've thought about that time of the year when you feel a wind that even though gentle, signals the end of summer.

Beastcaller

Made this for a "what kind of superhero would I be" challenge, and since I like animals and that, I went with this :) A little different from usual, tried some painting techniques and practiced drawing animals along the way..

Beastcaller
His powers were manifested first as a great sense of empathy for animals, and later on with the ability to communicate and even talk to them. Using these power he unites the animals on this decaying world and helps them to gain freedom from the tyranny of man.

Any one of us can be the Beastcaller. Feeling empathy for animals is a property we should all have :)

P.S. Indeed most Disney princesses have this power by default, but oh well ^^;

So I made this for a Saturday sketch group, for fun and practice :) this week's theme was school, so I made a substitute teacher in a future world, kind of a sci-fi/cyberpunk style. What do you mean by "In the future there will be no schools and everyone's going to study from home with holograms and stuff"? ^^;;
