Happy Halloween!

So even though Halloween isn't celebrated over here, I wanted to make something for it, I love every special events that includes costuming, witches, ghosts, and all together even better! :D

And here's this year's witch!

Le sketch:

New Blog Design & Cover Girl!

So as you can see, I've redesigned everything around here, it's time to pick up the pace!

Here's the "completed" painting of the little Devil Girl:

Here's the blog version, I've decided to put the sketch lines over the painting to give off an "artistic" feel (or something XD). Anyway, there's something to sketchwork or the contrast in this version, which I like, even more than the completed drawing. maybe that's something to learn about values & contrast, or the illusion of detail that the sketch gives off. Worth thinking about :)

Oh and here's the sketch :)

Harley & Joker

...so I was planning to cosplay Joker again on the Icon convention not long ago with Topaz being Harley. eventually we couldn't make it in time, so I made this for her, also as a going away present :)

..and the sketch:

Icon 2013 - Identity

Drew this for a exhibition on the Icon convention in Israel, was asked to participate.
The main concept is Identity, to be interpreted in any way, and cosplay being my other hobby, I chose to represent the change of identity a cosplayer takes upon him/herself. That is, her character probably has some unfinished business with some dudes. The photographers don't seem to mind though ^^;

The sketch:

Shani

A painting for a friend of mine of her :) Took me a hell of a long time to get to finish ugh.. Anyway she liked it so ^^;

p.s Yes she has a rabbit and a canary.

Jane

Made this as a gift for Jane Halevy who also happens to be the head of the International Anti Fur Coalition. She does so much for the animals!

Some previous sketches:

Alice

A little late, but here's something I did for someone's birthday, or should I say un-birthday ;)
Inspired by Alice: Madness Returns.

And here are some scrapped tests for it:

VGirls No.1

First of many more to come hopefully. VGirls (for now..), a pin up project I’m making in support of veganism :)
Yeah it may be a little ambitious, and there may be some anatomical errors but oh well ^^;

And here be the sketch:

Holy Warrior

Fun practice, fantasy style, tiefline paladin or something along those lines, reading “Brimstone Angels: Lesser Evils” at the moment so…

Made entirely on Manga Studio 5 :)

...and another version, stopped midway and went with the first one^^;

Spring Heat

Yup, it's Spring time! Well I was just sketching at work and something came out nicely so I just went with it. Trying not to get rusty when lacking inspiration :)
No intricate story behind this one ^^;

Sketched in FireAlpaca, rest in Manga Studio.
