That week was Emma Peel, a character from the 1960's British show 'The Avengers' (no not *those* Avengers) a spy-fi show. There was also a movie some years back starring Uma Thurman :)

The Adversary

Something a little different, drew this for a 'Drawn Cats' contest, a little kitten meets his adversary for the first time :)
It was interesting to practice drawing cats, rendering fur, and simulating mirrored reflections ^^;

Here's Xena! Made this for a contest over here about creating an anime-ish version of something (that isn't already anime), I loved that show! :D
I made the Chakram in Blender and combined it together in Manga Studio. Also, I think I've worked on the background more than the character herself, never-ending foliage! X_X

Sky Doll

Something I've been working on for the past few days, for the Trinquette Publishing challenge. Now I didn't really know anything about this character, but after seeing the art I've decided to read it, and it's beautiful! The art is so amazing and inspiring, makes me want to work harder :) (and make a comic myself!)

I've actually done 2 versions, with the first one scrapped midway because I felt it wasn't engaging enough ^^;

So after watching the excellent Mirai Nikki anime I just had to draw Yuno. She's just such a great character! :D

Yup so here's another Ryuko! :) Did this for the Trinquette Publishing challenge. I find these a nice way to get myself to practice drawing, and in my favorite subject (girls! 'XD)

David & the Goliath

My drawing for The Bible Stories contest, basically the challenge was to take a story from the Bible, and give it a modern interpretation. My take on David facing the Goliath! (with a few changes here and there..^^;)
Wow this one took a while to make. This is not my usual style or my work method, I decided to try something new.. I've changed so many things in the process, you can just watch hehe.

Ryuko, Kill la Kill

So yeah I’m watching Kill la Kill. I don't watch a lot of anime lately, but this show reminds me how much fun it is (well the good ones anyway ^^;)
Lol I think this is the most risque piece I’ve ever done ‘XD
