Something quick I worked on today, mostly a painting practice, actually I didn't know what to draw so I scribbled something and came up with this, it started to form on its own.. :)

Could have worked on it more I guess, but it's late, and I think I'd rather work on many illustrations to moderate level instead of a few that are more refined, more practice this way... hehe

PowerPuff Ladies

Well, here's the final version of the girls. I know I could have worked on this some more, but oh well... I kinda like it the way it is anyway... Hoping to win the contest! (though I don't know my chances, really...)

Some trivia about the characters:
Blossom: Never cut her hair, she braided it to three long braids, entwined with the red bow she loves so much. She looked for a pretty & fashionable armor, safety last! always the fancy one, she couldn’t help but strike a pose. :)
Bubbles: Knightly and shy, with her powerful OctiSpear. She was urged by the other girls to wear a sturdy armor because she (unintentionally, of course…) gets into trouble. Her sweet facade may be broken when pushed over the limit…
Buttercup: With her beloved green blanket she keeps as a cape, she’s of course the toughest one, and reckless, so she doesn’t really care about protection. As she loves to use her fists, she was sent a pair of high-tech PowerGloves from the future by professor Utonium!

PowerPuff Girls, WIP

Decided to give the project a little more time, finally some stuff to draw! Worked some more on Buttercup, and added Bubbles to join the party :)
Planning to make Blossom as well, of course...

Buttercup

My try at an idrawgirls.com contest, tried to make a grown-up version of Buttercup from the Powerpuff Girls.
I have to say that lately I've been struggling with techniques and am  little frustrated. I want to improve but it's like I'm facing a wall of tiredness/procrastination/etc. Can't bring myself to work, with no direction ahead. I need to get past this!
Anyway, here's the drawing :)

Finesse

Something from yesterday. I hate not finishing something in the same day, makes me feel like I'm lagging.
Practicing painting, trying to find methods... I need to make myself work more! :)

Demon Hunter

Saw the Demon Hunter Diablo III trailer and got some inspiration. Actually I don't do fan art much at all, but I think it has advantages, as in learning from the best :)

Bird Girl

Saw a scene with her in a dream, so I drew her, and hopefully I'll draw the scene sometime soon :) (it's a little elaborate though...)

Away from my computer, I had only my pencil (leadholder actually) and paper. I used the opportunity to practice form and light instead of color.
